Minimal Project Footprint: Construction projects are notorious for being completed late! Project time and materials estimations are an art not a science, and there are always unexpecteds! Therefore I set reasonable, even conservative completion dates to minimize the frustrations of time over-runs, then work diligently to complete on schedule. I do not promise deadlines I cannot deliver in order to get the contract. This may cost me an occasional contract, but my clients are satisfied because their expectations were met, no false promises were made, and we all live a more peaceful life!
Because having a contractor in your home can be disruptive, I strive to minimize my presence through dust mitigation, odor control, daily clean up, keeping bathrooms clean, keeping sound down, work around your daily schedule, and generally stay out of your way as much as possible!

Excellent Painting offers this unbeatable "No Brush stroke Out of Place" Absolute-Satisfaction Guarantee: Before final payment, you inspect my work, and if any detail is unsatisfactory, I will correct it. Regarding payments, on typical projects, I ask for a 50% payment the day I start work, and the remainder the day I complete work. On larger projects a payment schedule can be negotiated based upon your financial situation, or clearly defined benchmarks. This creates fairness and equitable investment in the project by both parties. Credit Cards accepted.

Preparation:
Preparation is often 80% of a painting project! A fine paint job is only as solid as the prep work under it. Excellent Painting provides meticulous cleaning, scraping, hole filling, sanding and feathering. All trim is taped and protected.
Painting:
Top coats are carefully applied by brush, roller, or sprayer.
Touch Up & Clean up:
After the painting completed, all tape and protective paper and plastic are removed and placed in the trash. Any paint found where it wasn't intended is removed. Windows are razor bladed. Floors and carpets swept or vacuumed. Empty paint cans are recycled when possible, and remaining paint cans are labeled with room and year, and placed in your storage area.
